Henry Whittaker was an architect. He arrived in Canada in 1913 and joined the B.C. Government as an architectural assistant. In 1915, he was promoted to the post of Chief Architect, a position he held until his retirement in 1949.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of photographs depicting Vancouver panoramas, Victoria Harbour, animals, children, ferries, farming, and various B.C. towns.
