The Golden and District Museum acquires, preserves and makes accessible archival material relating to Golden and other communities in the Columbia region of B.C., including Field, Donald, Parson, Harrogate, Spillimacheen, and Brisco. Holdings include records of schools and school boards, individuals, institutions and community associations, the Town of Golden, and the Golden Assessment District. The museum also maintains an extensive historical photograph collection.
