Geoarge William London was born in Durham County, Ontario, in 1869. At ten years of age he came west with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard London, who established a farm on Westham Island in 1892. Richard London's brother Charles London settled in Richmond. Eventually G.W. London purchased the farm from his parents. In 1897 he married Jean Dalzell (1877-1956) of Richmond, and they had three children, Irene Hazel, George Ernest, and Richard Arthur. George was prominent in the educational affairs of Delta, serving on the Delta School Board for 20 years. He was a member of the Delta Masonic Lodge and New Westminster Masonic Lodge. George continued to operate the farm with his son George Ernest until close to his death in 1942. George E. London married Phyllis Elizabeth Rich. Phyllis was an active member of the Delta Museum and Archives. George won many awards for his purebred dairy herds. Hazel London married Walter Davis, son of Charles and Elizabeth Davis, who had moved to Ladner in 1898. Charles and his sons farmed in Delta, and later, with his sons Walter, Roy and Earl, established Ladner Transfer Ltd. Hazel and Walter had one son, Wayne Davis.
