    Biographical history

    Evelyn McCallum and her husband, Jack McCallum, live in Princeton, B.C. During World War II Jac and George Henry of Lytton, B.C., served together in the war, and became good friends. After the war, George and his wife, Mamie, often visited the McCallums in Princeton. jack McCallum took the army photos of George Henry and Evelyn took pictures of George, Mamie and Jack in her garden in Princeton in 1983. George Henry was a native of Lytton, a member of the Lytton First Nations Band, and a very respected and well-liked elder.

    The fonds consists of seven photographs (1945, 1983). Includes George and Mamie Henry of Lytton, B.C., and Jack McCallum of Princeton, B.C. taken in the McCallum garden at Princeton, and four photographs of George Henry taken at the army camp in Red Deer, Alberta, in 1945.
