The Cowichan Assessment District incorporated the Cowichan, Quamichan, Helmcken, Sahtlam, and Shawnigan Land Districts and the Bench, Cobble Hill, Cowichan, Glenora, Koksilah, Shawnigan and Malahat Rural School Districts.
