              The fonds consists of business correspondence of the Gazette Printing Company and other business records (including notices of assessment and accounts with the Workmen's Compensation Board, bills, and invoices), much of which relate to the operation of the Grand Forks Gazette newspaper. The fonds includes personal correspondence, legal documents, and reference material of Thomas A. Love, owner of the Gazette Printing Company.

              The series relates to Boire's involvement with several community organizations and initiatives in Maillardville. Firstly, it encompasses the records of Boire's time with the Maillardville Residents' Association (MRA), on its Maillardville revitalization and planning Task Force, which was instrumental for advocating for development activities. The series also contains records about the development of Place Maillardville, the Coquitlam Heritage Society, as well as the Vancity Maillardville Advisory Committee. Lastly, the series contains fliers, ephemera, and articles about events in Maillardville, including the Festival du Bois, and the 2009 Maillardville centenary.

              The Riverview Hospital Historical Society collection consists of the records collected and maintained by the Riverview Hospital Historical Society (RHHS). Through their museum and library, the RHHS acquired and stewarded records documenting the history of Riverview Hospital, the British Columbia School of Psychiatric Nursing, and the history of psychiatric care in British Columbia.

              The collection consists of a range of documentary forms, including: reports, theses, newspaper clippings, newsletters, publications, correspondence, manuals, plans and drawings, directories, inventories, procedures, programmes, annuals, invitations, motion pictures, personal narratives, staff lists, minutes, study notes, scrapbooks, ephemera, and photographs depicting aspects of social and administrative life at the hospital and school.

              The collection is arranged into ten series that reflect original collections maintained by the RHHS, and are organized by media type or content. See the Arrangement note below for more information.

              This series consists of assorted materials collected for reference purposes by the Riverview Hospital Historical Society and originally acted as a reference library when the Society ran its museum. It contains publications, clipped articles, studies, DVDs, transcripts, and pamphlets. In addition to its reference collection, the series contains a subseries of the scholarly communications and theses arising from research undertaken at Riverview Hospital. Many publications are originals; however this series also consists of copies of articles.

              This subseries consists of public relations communications about the history and development of Riverview Hospital made by the Province, privately owned television, and from the Hospital itself. It was originally a division in the museum library collection. This subseries shows aspects of life at Riverview Hospital from anecdotes of former employees, to land use surveys, and digitized videos of different hospital wings and buildings.

              The fonds consist of textual records and ephemera relating to Ron Blacks activities with Comox Council, the civic marina and writing for the Comox District Free Press.               The fonds contain photographs and slides of the early Village of Comox buildings and streets, Comox Nautical Days as well as the Comox Post Office. Fonds also contain ephemera regarding service groups such as dEsterre Center, Filberg Festival, Comox Golf Club and Library as well as reference files on Comox history. Fonds also include Green Sheet Newspapers between the years 1960-1980 as well as a collection of the Vancouver Province Womens Section dating from 1924 to 1942.

              The fonds consists of Mr. Dunning's family and business records; records accumulated as a member of various community organizations; and documents, manuscripts, and photographs resulting from Edgar's work for the Delta newspaper, the Optimist, and his interest in Delta community events and history. Family records include correspondence and legal records regarding the property on 48th Avenue and Delta Street, as well as financial and educational certificates. A large series of memorabilia includes invitations and other ephemera, which Edgar accumulated as publisher and reporter for the Optimist and as active community member. Business records are largely from the Optimist printing business, and include examples of print products such as invitations, programs, letterheads, tickets, municipal reports, etc., which were printed for local people and businesses of Delta. A small series of Optimist newspaper records include lists of subscribers from the 1940s. The fonds includes a sample of Edgar's writings for the Optimist on historical topics, plus a larger group of manuscripts that have been edited by him in his capacity as editor of the Optimist and as an interested and knowledgeable local historian. The fonds also consists of minutes of meetings, correspondence, reports, etc. accumulated by Edgar as a member of the Delta Community Band, various centennial committees, the Delta Historical and Museum Society, and other organizations. Edgar is a talented amateur photographer, and his photograph collection reflects his work as a reporter and his interest in the people and events of Delta.
