The collection consists of 39 copy negatives with 93 matching slides of Delta pioneers, schools and historical locations in Delta, and five cassette tapes of interviews with Delta pioneers conducted by grade five students of Holly Elementary School in Delta. The collection is the result of a centennial year project called "Those Were the Days" carried out by the students under the direction of their teacher Mr. G. Johnson. People interviewed for the project were: Murray Davie, Tony and May Lagemaat, Jean Atkinson, Bertha Reynolds, John and Warrena Nottingham, Edith Bell, Mrs. Ellis Telfer, Mrs. Albert Weaver, Ed Vidulich and Dominic Bussanich.

The second album spans from 1988 to 1990, covering mostly cub scout and some girl guide events.

The fonds consists of a Boy Scouts "Troop Record Book" in which are recorded the names of the members of two patrols of a Ladner scout troop and its financial records for 1916. Reverend Garbett was its leader. A gap occurs in the book until 1934 when the troop is reconstituted as the 1st Ladner Boy Scout Troop. The Troop Record Book records members' attendance and fees paid until 1942. The fonds also includes receipts for membership and applications for membership, 1938-1939; and records of boys' names and addresses and tests passed, 1935-1938.

The collection consists of a copy negative and copy prints depicting Brownies, Guides, Cubs, and Scouts in the Delta area.
