              The series consists of records pertaining to the Burquitlam Lions Club's (BLC) administrative and membership activities. It contains material relating to the history and objectives of the BLC, including its constitution and policies, as well as the day-to-day operations of the club. Additionally, it contains membership records, a core aspect of BLC administration.

              The series is divided into several subseries: membership records; agendas and minutes of meetings; constitution, policies and procedures; correspondence.

              The series consists primarily of textual material.               The fonds consists of one series of scrapbooks comprised of correspondence, newspaper clippings, promotional materials, album covers, press releases, pamphlets and photographs. The scrapbooks are organized chronologically, documenting the annual activities and achievements of the Delta Youth Orchestra.

              The collection consists of 39 copy negatives with 93 matching slides of Delta pioneers, schools and historical locations in Delta, and five cassette tapes of interviews with Delta pioneers conducted by grade five students of Holly Elementary School in Delta. The collection is the result of a centennial year project called "Those Were the Days" carried out by the students under the direction of their teacher Mr. G. Johnson. Photographs include copies of historical images as well as contemporary portraits and scenes. A project list of the images is available. People interviewed for the project were: Murray Davie, Tony and May Lagemaat, Jean Atkinson, Bertha Reynolds, John and Warrena Nottingham, Edith Bell, Mrs. Ellis Telfer, Mrs. Albert Weaver, Ed Vidulich and Dominic Bussanich.

              Consists of two albums of newsclippings about boy scout activities in Delta. The first album spans from 1985 to 1987, covering Ladner and Tsawwassen troups and including a program from a Chief Scout Award Recognition Ceremony. The second album spans from 1988 to 1990, covering mostly cub scout and some girl guide events.

              The fonds consists of a Boy Scouts "Troop Record Book" in which are recorded the names of the members of two patrols of a Ladner scout troop and its financial records for 1916. Reverend Garbett was its leader. A gap occurs in the book until 1934 when the troop is reconstituted as the 1st Ladner Boy Scout Troop. The Troop Record Book records members' attendance and fees paid until 1942. The fonds also includes receipts for membership and applications for membership, 1938-1939; and records of boys' names and addresses and tests passed, 1935-1938.

Fortune Secondary School (1978), graduation and theatre programs (1945-2005), school newspapers (1912, 1936-1993) and annuals 1948-2005), a history of the school: 'Schools of Enderby and District, 1896-1965' by Ruby Lidstone, a scrapbook with honour and merit rolls (1984-1988); a videotape of graduation ceremonies (1990) and school activities (1996); and audiocassette tape of students interviewed by CBC (1998). Fonds also includes records relating to a 1990 school musical, including 150 slides, script, program, directors' notes and stage directions.
