Series contains records related to a child apprehension crisis which occurred in Quesnel from December 1997 to January 1998. During this crisis, the B.C. Ministry for Children and Families conducted an audit of the Quesnel social services office, which lead to a removal of an unprecedented number of children from their families. Records in this series were created or received during Trotter’s involvement in the Quesnel Child, Youth, and Family Network as well as her participation in a research project conducted to support affected mothers. This project was led by the B.C. Steering Committee of the National Action Committee on the Status of Women in association with the Quesnel Women’s Resource Centre.
Records created or received through the Quesnel Child, Youth, and Family Network include meeting minutes, newsletters, correspondence with government officials, annual reports, job postings, and the results of a family counselling needs survey conducted by the Network. Files also contain meeting minutes and correspondence related to the establishment of a Quesnel Family Resource Centre.
Records related to the child apprehension crisis itself include a report titled "Quesnel Community Gathering: Proceedings of May 19 and 20, 1998, and Open Space Event"; correspondence with government officials; press releases; special investigation reports and findings; handwritten notes; draft articles and write-ups; and contact lists. Newspaper clippings from the Cariboo Observer, the Province, Perspectives, the Vancouver Sun, the Globe and Mail, the Daily Courier, and the Radical which document the child apprehension crisis are interspersed between records. Several Provincial government reports are also included, such as a copy of Bill 47: Child, Youth and Family Advocacy Amendment Act (1995); a copy of The Risk Assessment Model for Child Protection in British Columbia, Ministry for Children and Families (1996); a copy of BC's Risk Reduction Service Plan Instruction (1996); and a Gove Inquiry Report Implementation Forum facilitation booklet (1996) with associated handwritten notes.
Records created or received through the NAC-BC Child Welfare Research Project include a research proposal, photocopied journal articles, Provincial government reports, literature reviews, correspondence with government officials, correspondence with academics, meeting minutes, newsletters, pamphlets, and Quesnel Community Development reports.

Bowen Island School Reunion CommitteeThe collection consists of 39 copy negatives with 93 matching slides of Delta pioneers, schools and historical locations in Delta, and five cassette tapes of interviews with Delta pioneers conducted by grade five students of Holly Elementary School in Delta. The collection is the result of a centennial year project called "Those Were the Days" carried out by the students under the direction of their teacher Mr. G. Johnson. Photographs include copies of historical images as well as contemporary portraits and scenes. A project list of the images is available. People interviewed for the project were: Murray Davie, Tony and May Lagemaat, Jean Atkinson, Bertha Reynolds, John and Warrena Nottingham, Edith Bell, Mrs. Ellis Telfer, Mrs. Albert Weaver, Ed Vidulich and Dominic Bussanich.

BC Conference. Minister to Youth and Young AdultsThe collection consists of material kept by Mary Wilson to document the evolution of child care at SFU. Collection includes letters, minutes, reports and other documents as well as a short history of early child care at the University in which Wilson explains the importance of each document in the collection.

BC Conference KairosThe series consists of records pertaining to the Burquitlam Lions Club's (BLC) administrative and membership activities. Playfair Park Mother's GroupFonds consists of records relating to Collins’ leadership in the Scout Movement, and to his work for BC Conference and Vancouver-Burrard Presbytery (1973-1989). Collins, Harvard P.Series consists of a second edition copy of Anne Frank’s Het Achterhuis, or Diary of a Young Girl; the memoir Adolescence Lost, written by Carla Benninga; a thank you card; “Ever Stitch a Memory” notes and photo; a photocopy of a newspaper article; two photocopies regarding a Holocaust exhibition; copies of testimonies; current writings by Sorensen; and translations provided by Sorensen.
Series consists of records relating to Collins’ Boy Scout and Cub leadership. Includes slides of the Ryerson Scout Troop and Cub Pack camping expeditions at Camp Byng, Roberts Creek (1947-1951); Coquitlam Camporee (1948); Abbotsford trail rides at Spruce Lake in the Chilcotin (1959-1960); and the Haney Scout and Cub camps at Camp Byng and Manning Park, and trail rides in Bridge River country (1965-1973).
The fonds consists of one album of photographs taken by Sage between September 1945 and August 1946 at a relocation camp near Tashme, B.C. where she was a social worker. The photographs include general views of the scenery, individuals and groups and some smaller buildings. In addition to the camp shots, there are also pictures of Japanese Canadians preparing for relocation. The album also includes a newspaper clipping, post card and a typescript article about the Tashme Camp. The fonds also includes a small body of correspondence written by Margaret Sage to her parents Walter and Nelda Sage and to her brother Donald (1945/46).
Sage, Margaret, 1919-Series consists of textual and graphic materials relating directly to Sorensen. Records include a photocopy of an original document sent from Sorensen’s Montessori school, an original report card from Sorensen’s 1942/1943 year at Montessori school, and 3 original hand drawings done in pencil. The drawings were done by Sorensen when she was around 16 years old.
Louise Stein SorensenThe fonds consists of minutes of regular and annual area meetings, area annual reports, unit registation certificates, census and annual highlights report forms, published reference material, promotional material, photographs of Guide leaders, a scrapbook, a visitor's book, achievement records, and ephemera including several histories of guiding in Richmond. The records document the administration, activities, and programs of the Girl Guides within Richmond, as well as provide general information about the Girl Guides organization, its functions and aims.
