        History

The Cariboo Farmers' Co-operative Association was formed in 1921 to operate a creamery and manage other matters relating to dairy farmers. The Association's first president was John Holt, with Robert Yorston, H.H. Moffat, Otis Earley, Louis LeBourdais, Dave Beath, and W. Couldwell as elected directors. The creamery's buttermakers included Mr. Farmer, Mr. Lord, Alfred Johnson, and Frank Thompson. The Association was a prominent organization in the Quesnel area until it disbanded in 1962.
