Biographical history

Alfred George Brine was born in new Westminster in 1901. His father was Alfred J. Brine. George Brine was educated at Columbian College and married Verna Gilley in 1940. He served the City of New Westminster as City Clerk for many years up to his retirement in 1966. He was also an officer of the Native Sons of British Columbia. George Brine died in 1983.

Fonds consists of ephemeral items such as invitations to various local functions, christmas cards, and pamphlets. Fonds also consists of a certificate of title transferring land from Henry Kells Junior to Alfred J. Brine.
