Administrative history

The Association of Professors Emeriti is a voluntary association of retired Professors and a division of the UBC alumni association. To qualify for membership a Professor must be at least 65 years or older with five years service at UBC or have been retired and have worked at least 25 years. A main objective of the organization is to maintain a strong relationship with the university by putting the intellectual and academic resources of the Association at the disposal of the university. The Association also aims to serve as a forum for members to peruse matters of common interest and to foster intellectual and social interactions between them.
