The fonds includes records (manuscripts, correspondence, etc.) of Gilbert's literary journal, "B.C. Monthly", and records including photographs) of the New Era Social Club, an artists' studio/living space in Vancouver; and audiotapes of radiofreerainforest shows.

Included in the fonds are archival materials for Vi Plotnikoff's Head Cook at Wedding and Funerals (1994), first collection of Doukhobor short stories published and the first widely published literary writings by a Doukhobor woman, and George Elliott Clarke's poem-novel Whylah Falls (1990), later adapted for the stage and film, along with materials related to the publication of other works in Polestar's catalogue.

              Fonds consists of correspondence, review articles, and published materials. both general (1974-80) and in relation to her involvement with the SF issue of "Room of One's Own" (1979-80). There are also records arising from Wood's participation in the "Pacific Northwest Review of Books" and copies of review articles (1977-78). Also included are materials (predominantly printed) from "Crossing Frontiers", a 1978 conference which brought together Canadian and American literary scholars, historians and writers to discuss comparative literature from the two "wests".

It also contains manuscripts by students, materials related to musician and composer Michael Zilber, Department of Creative Writing administrative records as well as various UBC committee records.

              Fonds consists of records documenting the programs and activities of the Radio Society / CiTR (including DISCORDER), including textual records and sound recordings of a variety of programs, radio plays, campus events, public service announcements, photographs of the radio studio and from different events, and advertisements produced by the Radio Society for broadcast on its station (CYVR/CiTR) or affiliated radio stations. In addition, the fonds includes recordings of interviews conducted on behalf of the Alma Mater society relating to its art collection.
