Administrative history
1947: New Westminster's Farmers' Market opens in a new location with Market Vendors' Committee chaired by R.W. Shaw.
The Market Vendors' Association was involved with advertising and promoting the City Market. They also organized special event days, for example for the anniversary of the foundation of the Market or the B.C. Centennial, which often involved the vendors' dressing in period costume. The Association also handled table rentals to vendors and rentals of the Market space to other operators.
1987: City Market closes and Market Vendors' Association dissolves.
