Biographical history
Willingdon Heights United (Community) Church began in North Burnaby in 1948 with a Sunday School and worship services. The first church boards were organized in 1949 and the name "Willingdon Heights Community Church of the United Church of Canada" was chosen. It has constituted a single point pastoral charge in Westminster Presbytery.
