Biographical history
William Albert Campbell came to Dawson Creek before 1930 and spent many years in the community as a barber before retiring to Chilliwack, B.C. He held a barbering licence for more than 50 years.
Custodial history
Records sent by mail to Gerald Clare who donated them to the Archives in 2000.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of two letters written to Gerald Clare in response to a request for information about early barbers and barbershops in Dawson Creek. Two photos relate to a 1943 explosion and fire in Dawson Creek.
