Biographical history

The Wild Horse Summer Theatre Company was established in the spring of 1977 and ceased that autumn. With University of Victoria professor Murray Edwards as Company Director and Tony Bukowiecki as Company Manager, the company spent the summer in Fort Steele Heritage Park in the east Kootenay performing "The Life and Death of Sneaky Fitch", a historical drama by James L. Rosenburg. The cast and crew consisted mostly of University of Victoria theatre students. The company's purpose was to educate as well as entertain the public about British Columbia history.
