Westminster Hall (1907-1927)

Administrative history

Westminster Hall was a Presbyterian theological college founded in 1907 to meet the growing demand for ministers in the mission fields of B.C. Until 1923, when the college entered into affiliation with the Anglican and Methodist theological colleges, it operated only during the summer months. The principals of Westminster Hall were John MacKay (1908-1919) and W.H. Smith (1919-1927). In 1927, Westminster Hall amalgamated with Ryerson College to form Union College.
