The fonds consists of correspondence, minutes (including minutes of the Board of Governors and Senate), financial and legal records, faculty and student records and other administrative records of various offices (including the Principal's Office, the Bursar's Office and the Housing Office) of Union College arranged into series relating to administration (1926-1971), finances (1927-1972), housing (1958-1971), personnel and faculty (1938-1971), students (1927-1971), theological education (1927-1972), library (1927-1971), public relations (1938-1971), and churches (1926-1971), the latter primarily relating to the United Church of Canada B.C. Conference and its Presbyteries. Fonds includes photographs and architectural material as well as the papers and photographs (1926-1948) of Principal J.G. Brown and papers (including correspondence and personal writings) and photographs (1925-1971) of Principal W.S. Taylor.
