Biographical history
Thomas Rodney Cusack was born in St. Thomas, Ontario. After coming to Victoria, he apprenticed as a printer with H.G. Waterson starting about 1889. He ran his own job printing firm and later built his own printing plant in Victoria. He invested in commercial real estate in Victoria and erected several stores. He married Jeanette Luney in Victoria in 1899 and had one daughter Noel.

The fonds consists of photographs showing Thomas Cusack and other in early automobiling scenes; Thomas and Jeanette Cusack; various groups of people; buildings under construction in downtown Victoria; a public meeting or dedication ceremony with John Oliver, Simon Fraser Tolmie and R.H. Pooley in attendance.
