Biographical history
Stanley R.S. Bayne was a farmer at Beaver Creek in the Alberni Valley and was responsible for the Alberni Station of the Canadian Meteorological Service.
Custodial history
Scope and content
The fonds consists of Stanley Bayne's farm diaries (1899-1935) and farmers account book (1925-1926). Entries in diary after Stanley Bayne's death in 1933 made by his son, Sydney Bayne. Fonds includes Dominion meteorological registers (1900-1933) for the Alberni Station of the Canadian Meteorological Service completed by Stanley Bayne.
