Joan Skogan is an author. She was born in Comox on September 29, 1945 and received a Masters of Fine Arts from the University of British Columbia. Joan has worked as a journalist, fisheries observer and has taught adult education. In 1983 her book, 'Skeena A River Remembered,' was published by British Columbia Packers Ltd. The book is based on interviews with people who had lived and worked in the fishing industry on the Skeena River.
