Biographical history
Robert Johnston was born in Victoria, B.C. His father was the sales and production manager for the Canadian Puget Sound Lumber Company. The family lived in Victoria and Vancouver before emigrating to South Africa in 1936.
Custodial history
Donated to the B.C. Archives and Records Service by Dan Thompson, before transfer to Special Collections.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of a recording of childhood memories of Vancouver and Victoria between 1922 and 1936.
