History

The Prince Rupert City and Regional Archives was established in 1980 and moved to its present site in 1990. The archives' holdings include archival records (including photographs), newspapers, books and periodicals, and other reference material pertaining to Prince Rupert and communities on the north coast of B.C. and in the northwest interior.
