Biographical history
The Marysville Fire Department served the community of Marysville, which was later amalgamated into the City of Kimberley. From 1952 to 1962, T.A. Leighton was the Fire Chief and served as Local Assistant Fire Marshal.
Custodial history
Records were in the custody of Tom Leighton.
Scope and content
The fonds consists of the fire department daily log book (1952-1961), minutes of the Fire Department (1952), and the Fire Chief's scrapbook, including photographs of fires, of the fire department, and of T.A. Leighton, Fire Chief.
