Biographical history
The Kitsilano Community Resources Board was instituted in 1975 to plan and manage local social service programs. Community resource boards were established by the NDP provincial government in 1974 to allow local citizens more input and control over the operation of the Department of Human Resources. These boards were dissolved in 1977.

The fonds consists of the minutes of the Integration Task Force and its committees, 1974; election materials, 1974; a directory of services; clippings and newspapers, 1973-1977; information relating to the Kitsilano Community Centre, including a survey of community needs, information relating to Point Grey Road and a survey of services for seniors and reports relating to local planning.
