Biographical history
Originally a member of University of British Columbia Arts Class of 1926, H.W. Fowler completed his M.A. in 1929 before embarking on a teaching career. He taught in the UBC Department of Physics for two years and then went to the former combined elementary-high school which later became University Hill Secondary School. He completed his B.Ed. in 1943. He died in 1963.

Scope and content
Fonds consists of clippings, brochures and photographs relating to Fowler's activities as a student at UBC. Also included are programmes from variety of UBC events including the inauguration of UBC buildings at Point Grey (1925). In addition, the fonds includes programmes of performances of the UBC Players' Club (1928-1935) and the UBC Musical Society (1923-1933).
