Biographical history
Holy Trinity Church was opened in Elko in 1912 and a new parish was created at about the same time with Baynes Lake and Waldo as other significant points. The church was reported as unused in 1918 and by the early 1920's, Elko seems to have been absorbed into the parish of St. Paul, Michel.
Custodial history
Received from the custody of Christ Church, Fernie.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of parish register, service register, vestry and parish council records (1913-1915). Includes Baynes Lake; Bull River; Caithness; Gateway; Jaffray; Morrissey; Newgate; Waldo, St. Michael and All Angels. Parish register includes: baptisms (1913-1925), confirmations (1912-1914), marriages (1913-1916), burials (1913-1917).
