This collection of trial related records was donated to the archives by Chris Harvey Q.C., one of the lawyers from the law firm Fasken Martineau DuMoulin LLP, formerly Russell & DuMoulin, who represented the Grauers in the Federal Court trial.

Scope and content

The collection consists of legal documents such as affidavits, change of solicitor, examinations for discovery, judgements, reasons for judgements, notices of motion, oaths and statements of defence; correspondence and memoranda; case examples; legislation; trial binders; notarized copies of legal agreements; cartographic plans; Vancouver International Airport meeting minutes, annual reports, information kits and publicity pamphlets; property appraisals; and newspaper clippings. These records of the Grauer's expropriation litigation document the procedures required for this complex and lengthy legal case. Collection is arranged in 8 series: 1.
