Biographical history
Mr. Fred Shearer arrived in Fort George in 1915. Mr. Shearer became a Notary Public Official in the city of Prince George, British Columbia, in the 1920s until 1957. The Notary Public office is still located on George Street in the City of Prince George. Mr. Shearer was the only Insurance Corporation Representative for all of the Northern Interior during the 1920s.
