        History

        Margaret Fougberg (nee Collins) was born on Bowen Island in 1910. She was a teacher and amateur historian with an interest in the early settlement of Bowen Island. After leaving Bowen, she settled in Pemberton, founded the Pemberton Museum, and co-authored the book “Pemberton: History of a Settlement.”
