History

Everett Fleming was born in Saskatchewan and studied arts at UBC and theology at Emmanuel College, Toronto. He was ordained in 1926 and received a Master of Systematic Theology degree from Union Theological Society (New York) in 1928. He served various pastoral charges in B.C. Fleming joined the CCF in 1933 and held the position of Chairman of the District Council for Omineca and Secretary of the Burns Lake Local. Fleming published several volumes of poetry.
