Biographical history
The Elgin Community Association of Surrey, B.C., was formed in 1922, its purpose being to assist in the raising of funds for a community hall, to encourage debate and discussion in the community, and to promote athletic activities in the community. The association later built and owned Elgin Hall in Surrey.
Custodial history
Original minute book was in the possession of Ivy Biggs of White Rock at the time of the donation of the photocopies by R. Robertson.
