Scope and content
The fonds consists of correspondence which give insight into the early business operations of the Department of Public Works, Skeena District, Smithers. This fonds consists of six letters relating to camp operations; they were written by W. H. Cotton, Assistant District Engineer, Skeena District Office, Department of Public Works, Province of British Columbia. These letters were sent to S. H. Senkpiel, Kitwanga. Description as follows: (1983 1 1) August 23, 1935. Response to request for supplies; (1983 1 2) August 19, 1935. Reminder of accounting procedures; (1983 1 3) September 18, 1935. Letter re supplies; (1983 1 4) September 23, 1935. Request to close camp; (1983 1 5) October 17, 1935. Re bridge re-decking at Pallitti's'; (1983 1 6) October 17, 1935. Re establishment of new base camp.
