Biographical history
The Cranberry Parent Teachers Association was formed in 1939. Lieutenant Colonel A.T. Powell was elected president. The P.T.A. was concerned with education ideas, social and monetary concerns of the school. Study groups for mothers were implemented. Cranberry School (first known as Malaspina School in 1930) closed in 1986.
