History

The Cordova Bay CCF Club was established in 1952. Its interim officers elected were Dr. J.M. Thomas, Chairman, and Mrs. J.M. Thomas, Secretary-Treasurer. W.E. Miller became president in October 1952. The name changed in February 1962 to the Cordova Bay NDP club. The club ceased ca. 1966 and was superseded by the Saanich Commonwealth Society and the Saanich and the Islands NDP Constituency Association.
