Administrative history
The Citizens’ Task Force on Recycling was formed on April 19, 1979. The Citizens’ Task Force was created to research and formulate a recycling program for presentation to Saanich Council, and was chaired by Alderman Sturrock. The recycling proposal was presented on February 6, 1980.

Collection consists of material accumulated by Audrey Johnson during her time on the Saanich Task Force on Recycling. Collection includes minutes, correspondence, reports, publicity material, ephemera, news clippings, surveys, notes, research material and publications relating to recycling.
