The Charlotte Alcohol and Drug Society was formed to establish and administer programs in affiliation with the B.C. Alcohol and Drug Commission to prevent the abuse of alcohol and drugs on the Queen Charlotte Islands. The Society established support centres for alcohol and drug abuse.
