Biographical history
The C.E. Lawson Company is first listed in the City Directory in 1907. In 1911 it is located at 15 Lonsdale Ave., with Charles Lawson being in partnership with G.S. Shepherd. A 1913 advertisement proclaims: " Loans, Rents and investments, Insurance, Financial and Real Estate Agents, we specialize in business properties." In 1915 the company moved to 20 Lonsdale Ave. In 1916 Lawson became clerk of the District of North Vancouver.

Scope and content
Fonds consists of two leather bound journals numbered two and three, recording transfers of deed and certificates of title. No. 2 is dated 1911, and no. 3, 1912-1913.
