The Book Arts Club of Victoria was established ca. 1976 by Vernon Bender of the Fireweed Press (Sooke, B.C.), and includes among its members Howard Gerwing, Chris Petter and Patrick Healey. Its activities have included the publication of "Letters from Sooke: A Correspondence Between Sir Herbert Read and George Woodcock".
