The society collects and preserves archival material of the Arrow Lakes area from Edgewood on the Lower Arrow Lake to where the town of Arrowhead on the Upper Arrow Lake was situated before the flooding of the lake. Included is the Trout Lake, Lardeau area. The material consists of minute books, records, maps, etc., and 125 oral history tapes of interviews of pioneers, which have been copied and transcribed. Holdings include videos of historical events, photographs and newspapers (indexed) covering years 1892 to 1952.
