Biographical history
Allan "Curly" Stewart was elected to North Vancouver City Council in 1945, the first elected council after twelve years of commissioners.
Custodial history
Donated by Mrs. Dree Broderick (daughter of Allan Stewart) 15 August 1989.
Scope and content
Fonds consists of papers relating to Allan Stewart's tenure in City Council and with other public bodies. Records relate particularly to transportation, North Vancouver General Hospital, and North Vancouver Memorial Centre, of which Stewart was President from 1953-1955.
