Scope and content
Series consists of minutes, correspondence, memoranda, staff reports, and plans relating to the establishment of departmental and municipal policy. The Engineering Department role in serving in an advisory capacity on a variety of staff committees is also documented. Other topics include safety, the acquisition and development of residential and park land, and environmental quality control. Also included are the minutes of the Parks Department Senior Staff meetings, and records of the Safety Committee, the Park Acquisition Policy Committee, the Negotiating Committee, and the Land Acquisition Committee.
